La Playa de Tauro Vacations from $543

Room was great. BUT We were placed on the first floor which has the balcony right along the littered road with quite limited view. No option for an alternate room. Pool lovely. Not overcrowded but deep. No real shallow end. “Parking” was free 15 minute walk downhill. We were on a wait list for paid parking close to hotel for the full week. Never got any.

The place, staff, rooms were perfect. The hotel is closed to the best beaches.

The place was super cozy and clean! The staff were all friendly! The room was large and got great sunlight. The pool was also large and the temperature was fantastic, not too cold! The happy hours and evening shows were so much fun, and food was tasty and well priced. My only complaint is that the wifi was absolutely horrible, as it rarely would connect and made it hard for me as I was traveling from the United States. My friend from Ireland also couldn't connect most of the time. So that was a bummer, but everything else was wonderful! Will definitely be back!

Great location, rooms are traditional, dated but spacious. Bathrooms facilities needs updating. Food buffet was great if you enjoy quantity over quality. Breakfast buffet is best. Gardens around the pool are lovely. I recommend a room with sea view to fully enjoy this hotel. Personnally i think it's overpriced for what you get overhall, it is much nicer to be in hotels by the main area (Faro) Mostly german community.
